Purpose / Mission

The Purpose of the Asphalt Pavement Association is to promote the common business interests of manufactures, and our mission is to encourage and promote the use of asphalt concrete as a cost effective material.

One cannot look back over the past 50 years, at the current state of the Asphalt Pavement Association, or at the next 50 years without recognizing that the success or failure of our industry largely depends upon the dedication and capabilities of the people involved.



 History

The asphalt pavement industry has undergone some very significant changes over the past 50 years. We believe that this website will give you some appreciation of the efforts and dedication of the men, women and companies that has participated in the Association and the development in the industry during the past 50 years.
